<p>The machine sucks grain and similar material out of a storage chamber, particularly the hold of a ship, via a pipe with suction nozzle. A cage encloses the nozzle (28) on the end of the pipe (12) and can be turned in relation to it when in use, so that the nozzle mouth (29) is always close to the periphery of the cage, which rolls over the floor. The cage can be cylindrical and the nozzle mouth oblong, extending in the direction of the cage axis, while the cage is supported on the nozzle. The nozzle in turn is supported by the pipe. The cage can turn about an axis varying between +-15 deg. to that of the pipe.</p> |
