PURPOSE:To construct TLP of a size exceeding the width of a dock by a method in which a basic structure built up in a laying manner in a dock is moved onto the sea and pulled up to its normal attitude, and then an attendant equipment is constructed. CONSTITUTION:A basic structure 1 consisting of 4 legs 10, a pontoon 11, a column 12, and a platform 13 is built up in a laying manner in a dock X. The basic structure 1 is moved onto the sea and pulled up to its normal attitude for erection, and then such attendant equipments as crane, tower, etc., are constructed on the platform 13. TLP of a size exceeding the width of the dock can thus be easily built up at low cost without the use of any specific construction work and devices. |
