PURPOSE:To improve shearing accuracy, by so constituting that an error signal is generated according to a pulse train and a moved length of a material based on a sheared length of the material at the time of completion of shearing, in a device shearing a random length material into a fixed length in turn. CONSTITUTION:If signals showing a sheared length and a moved length of a material 1 are L0 and A and signals showing a constant corresponding to a rotation and a rotary angle of the shear 2 are B0 and B, the material 1 is sheared into a fixed length by the titled device by making acceleration and deceleration controls of an electric motor 4 for driving of the shear through a deflection signal, to be obtained by comparing a direct current conversion output of an error signal (L0-B0-A+B) with a moving speed VA of the material 1 by a comparator 16, and a true speed signal of the shear 2. In this instance, a pulse train L0 from a pulse generator 28 is applied to a register 9 from a register 30 based on an output of an FF29, which is reset at the time of starting of shearing by the shear 2 and is set at the time of completion of the shearing, and a moved length signal A so that operation of L0-A is made to perform. |
