PURPOSE:To hold a core member in prescribed shape and maintain accurate value of magnetic gap formed between core members, by a method wherein a winding body composed of magnetic sheets is inserted in a non-magnetic case, and the winding body and the case are cut together thereby core members are obtained. CONSTITUTION:A suitable number of magnetic sheets of amorphous alloy or the like are wound thereby an endless laminated winding body A is manufactured. The winding body A is inserted within a non-magnetic case B. The case B is cut and divided at suitable position X such as intermediate position, so that a core member 101 enclosing the laminated body A1 of magnetic sheet is obtained in the non-magnetic case B1, and a core member 102 also enclosing the laminated body A2 is obtained in the non-magnetic case B2. In an inductor produced by such process, the core members 101, 102 are coincident in opening end surface (a) of the cases B1, B2 to end surface (b) of the laminated bodies A1, A2 respectively, the laminated bodies A1, A2 are enclosed within the cases B1, B2 respectively, thereby dimension of magnetic gap G can be specified and the dimension accuracy of the magnetic gap is improved. |
