<p>The bunker emptying carriage has wheels running on rails in a covered tunnel under the outlet opening of the bunker. The carriage carries a rotating scraper wheel to move the material from the bunker through a slot which extends longitudinally in the bottom of the tunnel. The carriage contains a housing whose longitudinal length does not exceed the wheel dia. whilst its width equals the wheel hub dia. The housing has a frame carrying the hydraulic motor for the wheel drive and the electric motor for the wheels. The switch unit, oil tank and hydraulic pump with the drive motor are arranged in a second frame above it.</p> |
