TABLE TRAY OF SEAT FOR AIRCRAFT

PURPOSE:To obtain a light-weighted and economical tray by comprising a shell body with carbon fiber or fiber reinforced plastic obtained by reinforcing resin with reinforcing fiber whose principal component is carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION:A tray 1 has a shell body 12 that is obtained by opposing and bonding upper and lower side principal components 10 and 11 made of the fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) molded in a box form. The shell body 12 is reinforced by ribs 13 and 14 made of the FRP and is covered by upper and lower side covers 15 and 16 made of vinyl chloride or the lke. A low density core 8 made of flame-resisting foaming material is mounted on the inner part of the shell body 12 and the shell is mounted on an arm rest through a mounting nut 9.
