PURPOSE:To provide diversified decoration by embedding coloring materials whose chief ingredient may be modified liquid rubber, thermoplastic diene elastomer, or thermoplastic polyurethane, in a recessed part provided on a side wall of a pneumatic tire. CONSTITUTION:Colored side display can be provided by grooving a part of a side wall of a tire, covering the grooved part with a cover 3 such as a metal mold, etc. being closely brought in contact with the part and, then, injecting at a normal pressure or under pressure, a liquid type coloring material whose chief ingredient may be modified liquid rubber, thermoplastic diene elastomer, or thermoplastic polyurethane, and molding. Although the colored side display is characterized by being provided on the recessed parts of the side wall, the surface of the colored side display 2 needs not necessarily be aligned with the surface of the side wall 1, and the surface of the display may be recessed, and the display is more difficult to be exfoliated when the recess is wider in its inner part. |
