PURPOSE:To allow each device to be independently dismantled, so as to improve repairability and aim at compact size, by arranging a steering clutch brake output shaft in parallel relation with a steering gear input shaft on the rearside of a transmission gear, and interlocking the output shaft through a bevel gear with a lateral shaft perpendicular to the output shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a steering clutch brake assembly 10 is removed under such a condition that a steering gear 5 is mounted to a body frame 1, a fixing member 15 for fixing a rear cover 14 closing a rear opening of a case body 6 is removed, and then the steering clutch brake assembly together with the rear cover 14 is rearwardly drawn. Thus, a gear 7a of an input shaft 7 is separated from a gear 11b of a clutch outer drum 11a, and a bevel gear 16a is also separated from a bevel gear 21 of a lateral shaft, thereby permitting a housing 10a to be taken out of the case body 6. Further, a final reduction gear 24 may be removed from the frame 1 by disengaging a fixing member 26 for fixing a final reduction gear case 24b on both sides of the frame 1, thus improving repairability. Further, as the steering gear input shaft 7 and the steering clutch brake output shaft 16 are arranged in parallel relation with each other, it is possible to make a size of the device compact. |
