PURPOSE:To obtain optional reading out and writing speeds, by supplying address signals to memory element groups in accordance with the sampling frequency of picture element data and successively writing the picture element data and, at the time of reading out, successively outputting the picture element data at a simultaneous accessing. CONSTITUTION:Since a memory circuit for storing picture element data is constituted with memory elements of hv/m or more which are arranged in rows, the number of which is ft or more, in such a way that each of the plural element groups 21-26 is composed of memory elements of numbers equal to quantizing bits of picture element data to be stored to store picture element data and, at the time of reading out, plural rows of memory element groups are simultaneously accessed with a common address signal and stored picture elements are read out from the address of memory element group of each row, optional reading out and writing speeds can be obtained even when a memory element having a fixed reading out speed only is used. The (h) and (v) are the number of picture elements arranged in the logitudinal and transversal directions of picture, respectively, and the (m) is the number of the memory elements and the (f) is the sampling frequency, and then, the (t) is the reading out speed. |
