CONSTITUTION:When a decoder is enabled to write sound information synchronously with a video format signal, a pickup is switched to a normal reproduction mode, and when the writing is advanced to the frame at a next desired address number part, the sound information is written 6 in a memory 10 to write the sound information in the six frames. Further, the decoder carries on the masking until the frame with sound information is obtained even if the searching is completed and the signal is clamped to a black level. The masking of the picture is reset when 6-frame reproduction is completed and a desired picture appears on a monitor television screen.
