PURPOSE:To protect passenger in rear seat from flying out upon collision, by fixing a sub-rear header between left and right rear pillars. CONSTITUTION:The body 2 of car 1 is designed into two seaters where a rear window or a back door 3 is fixed openably/closably at the upper edge section in rear opening 2a of the body 2. A sub-rear header 5 of closed cross-section is fixed between left and right rear pillars 4 for forming said opening 2a. The sub-rear header 5 is separated from the rear header 6 and arranged while facing with head 3 portion of passenger in the seat 7. The sub-rear header 5 is fixed between left and right rear pillars 4 only when the body 2 is used as four-seater thus to protect rear seat passenger from flying out. |
