PURPOSE:To give superior characteristics as a photoreceptor, to lower cost, to render it flexible and formable into a belt, and resistant to heat and mechanical shock in an electrophotographic receptor obtained by forming a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, by incorporating a 2-benzothiazolinoneazine compd. represented by a specified general formula as a charge transfer substance in the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 2 composed of a 2-benzothiazolinoneazine compd. represented by formula I , a sensitizing dye, and a binder resin is formed on a conductive substrate 1 to obtain a photoreceptor. In formula I , R is ethyl, benzyl, or phenyl; n is 0 or 1; Ar is benzene, polycyclic aromatic, or heterocyclic ring each of them being optionally substd. by lower alkyl, halogen, alkoxy, lower alkylamino, benzylamino, or optionally substd. phenylamino. |
