<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the over-heating of waste at the composition section of a device from occurring owing to the excessive charging of waste or the charging of bulky waste by a method wherein an annular curvature groove is provided on the large diameter side of the tapered part of a screw so as to make the transfer passage sectional area between said tapered part and the conical part of a casing, which surrounds the screw, larger than the transfer passage sectional area between the screw shaft of the screw and the feeder part of the casing. CONSTITUTION:An annular curvature groove 29a is provided on the large diameter side of a tapered part 29, which integrally connects the screw shaft 7 with the degassing bar 8 of a screw 25. As shown at the hatched part of the curve A in the attached figure, the groove 29a is formed so as to make the transfer passage sectional area between the tapered part and the conical part 3 of a casing 4, which surrounds the screw 25, larger than the transfer passage sectional area between the screw shaft 7 of the screw and the feeder part 1 of the casing. Consequently, the density of plastic wastes, which is gradually increased to the direction of its transfer, is once decreased at the groove 29a part a shown at the hatched part of the curve B in the attached figure. Thus, even if plastic wastes 6 are charged excessively or bulky waste is charged, the generation of frictional heat is suppressed and the overheating of the wastes at the compaction section can be prevented from occurring.</p> |
