The invention relates to transmission or reception antennas of the type comprising a primary feed device connected to a transmitter or receiver device and a wave projector device containing at least one main projector. The problem to be resolved consists in reducing the number of inputs/outputs and in being able to reduce the diameter of the projector and simplify the switching device. According to the invention, the primary feed device 9 is connected to the frequency receiver/transmitter 20 and the main projector 11 consists of contiguous radiating elements 11a connected to transmission lines 16 terminating in the end elements 17 and whose lengths are unequal with increments equal to a fraction of the guided wavelength. The invention finds a particular application on telecommunications satellites.
