<p>PURPOSE:To make grouping of the sheets being discharged from a copying machine etc., which should require only simple construction, by supporting one end of a multi-staged bin tray freely swingably and by bearing the other end (on sheet carry-in side) with a bin supporting member, which can be mounted on and demounted from each tray. CONSTITUTION:This separating device has such a construction that copying sheets discharged from a copying machine are introduced being pinched by belts 206 and 211, which constitute the lead-in part 201, and are sent through a discharge part 202 to be discharged onto a group of bin trays 203. This group of bin trays 203 is composed of multi-staged bin trays slidably and a little rotatably with a hinge 217 as fulcrum, where each tray has a paper carry-in side whose end is supported separably by a bin tray feed device 204. This feed device 204 is equipped with pawls 231, 232 swingable round a shaft 230 and a lever 234 swung by any solenoid etc. round a shaft 233 to actuate the pawls 231, 232, in such an arrangement as to release and drop the bin trays 203 one stage after another.</p> |
