PURPOSE:To hold the earing of a magnetic brush in an invariably excellent state and to suppress deterioration in picture quality by forming on a sleeve the magnetic brush with an earing accelerating component comprised of magnetic granular material and a magnetic toner component comprised of magnetic powder dispersed in a fixation medium having grain size within a specified range and passing this magnetic brush through a convergent parallel magnetic field area. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of the earing accelerating component 10 comprised of the magnetic powder and the magnetic toner component 11 of 5-10mum grain size is supplied to the convergent parallel magnetic field area 12 of the sleeve 7 for conveyance to make the density of the mixture uniformly rough, and even when the earing accelerating component 10 is held on the sleeve 7 all the time and the magnetic toner component 11 is supplied thereupon to mix and stir both uniformly without causing compression between the toner powder etc. Further, an earing accelerating mechanism 13 made of the magnetic material is arranged closely to the developer introduction side of the earying mechanism 6 to supply a magnetic brush of a developer stably and quantitatively over the entier circumference of the sleeve 7 while the earing is uniform and develper density is uniformly rough. |
