PURPOSE:To make it possible to uniformly stow the articles to be stored and deliver them by arranging a conveyor device comprising two screw conveyors parallel to each other with respect to their axes, movablly in both horizontal and vertical directions. CONSTITUTION:In case articles are stored in a vessel, the articles conveyed by a carrying-in belt conveyor 16 are carried in the vessel via a carrying-in tripper 18, a carrying-in screw conveyor 20, and a carrying-in chute 22, and turned while horizontally moving a pair of screw conveyors 28, 30 with a garter 34. Here, the screw conveyors 28, 30 rotate one of the preceeding sides of the garter 34 in the horizontal direction A thereof (28 in the drawing) in the I direction, thereby allowing the aticles to be uniformly stowed. And, after the completion of the stowage of the articles by the amount corresponding to one step, the screw conveyors 28, 30 are lifted to a prescribed height by means of a lifting device 32, and the same operations are repeated, thus allowing the stowage to proceed. |
