The invention relates to the addition, to the head of the club, of a sighting system, with mirror and reference marks, with the object of improving the accuracy of positioning the club when the player addresses the ball. Two reference marks define, for example, a vertical plane perpendicular to the striking face. A mirror is fixed on the rear part of the head of the club, facing forwards and oriented such that the image of the head of the player is at ground level in the plane defined by the two reference marks.
