This relates to a frame upright of the type comprising at least two flanges 11a, 11b forming transversally an elbow (right-angle bend) 12 between them and provided with at least one hole 15 which is suitable for enabling at least one fixing accessory 20a, 20b to be secured therein. According to the invention, for the joint securing of one pair of fixing accessories 20a, 20b, such a hole 15 forms, on the front flange 11a, a recess of quadrangular contour 16a and, on the lateral flange 11b, a passage 17b set up at right angles to the central zone of the said recess 16a. Application to the construction, as required, of a frame suitable for the equipment of an electrical cabinet or the like. <IMAGE>
