发明名称 METHOD FOR DETECTING LEAK OF SHAFT FURNACE COOLING EQUIPMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To instantaneously detect the generation of a leak accident with respect to the time and the place thereof, by detecting the leak place of a cooling medium from the relation of the speed difference in both sound receiving times of two A.E wave measuring apparatuses each receiving a sound caused by the leak of the cooling medium flowing through a shaft furnace cooling equipment. CONSTITUTION:One of the sensors 1, 1' provided to A.E wave measuring apparatus main bodies 2, 2' is attached to the water supply side pipe end part of a water supply arranged pipe 14 while the other one is attached to the water drain side pipe end part thereof. The distance between the position where the sensor 1 is attached and a central small orifice 15o is made equal to the distance between the position where the sensor 1' is attached and the small orifice 15. That is, the small orifice 15o is present at the center between the positions where the sensors 1, 1' are attached. Preamplifiers 1a, 1a' are usually mounted in the sensors 1, 1' while main amplifiers 2a, 2b, filters 2b, 2b', average value detectors 2c, 2c' and signal discriminators 2d, 2d' are mounted in the A.E main bodies 2, 2'. Now when a stop cock 16p is loosen and the small orifice 15p near to the sensor 1 amoung small orifices 15o, 15p, 15g each held under a closed state is opened, a time (t) is necessary before the leak sound generated in the small orifice 15p reaches the sensor 1 while a time (t') is necessary before reaches the sensor 1'. It is understood that speed difference is generated in the leak sound receiving times of the A.E main bodies 2, 2' due to the distance from a leak place.
