In a wheelchair having a bearing block (15) disposed on each side of the lateral frame (10), wherein transverse axle bearing bores (16) are provided for the selective positioning of the wheels, there are provided in the bearing block (15), in addition to the axle bearing bores (16), axle bearing bores (17) which are inclined at varying degrees relative to such axle bearing bores (16). In this case, these axle bearing bores (17) extend towards the centre of the wheelchair, so that the wheels adopt an additional inclination relative to the lateral frames (10), thereby preventing the wheelchair from overturning, even when extreme stresses occur. <IMAGE> |
