1-(1,3-Dioxolan-2-yl-methyl)-1H-imidazoles and -1H-1,2,4-triazoles of the formula I <IMAGE> and their salts with physiologically acceptable acids as well as processes for their preparation are described. The novel compounds are active against infections caused by fungi such as dermatophytes, moulds and yeasts, by Protozoa such as trichomonads, and by bacteria.
