Actuating drive

An actuating drive for actuating an air flap or the like for a heating or air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle or the like, which has a spindle nut which is driven by a driving motor and by the rotary motion of which a threaded spindle guided in it is adjusted in linear fashion. The stops and counterstops limiting the movement of the threaded spindles in both directions are provided between the spindle nut and the threaded spindle, making it impossible for the actuating drive to jam. The housing of this spindle drive is held in a manner which allows it to pivot about a pivoting axis extending transversely through the longitudinal axis of the threaded spindle.
