<p>PURPOSE:To enable to make an efficient use of waste heat and steam of a boiler, by attaching a heat exchanging drum or durms incorporating therein a heat exchanger to either of or both of an upper header and a lower header of a vacuum type waste heat recovering means of the boiler, and thereby making it unnecessary to provide a special means for taking out hot water. CONSTITUTION:An upper heat exchanging drum 2 and a lower heat exchanging drum 3 are attached to a vacuum type waste heat recovering means 1 of a boiler, and waste heat of the boiler is recovered by the waste heat recovering means 1. In case that a required amount of hot water cannot be supplied by the means 1 alone, heat lacked by the waste heat is supplemented by feeding steam from the boiler directly to the lower heat exchanging drum 3 via a pipe 18 for heating water serving as the heating medium and utilizing hot water via the upper heating drum 2. Or otherwise, the heating-medium water is heated by attaching a burner to the lower heat exchanging durm and operating the burner to supplement the lacked heat, and heated water is used via the upper heat exchanging drum.</p> |
