PURPOSE:To detect effectively the radial distribution of the gaseous flow in a blast furnace by settig beforehand a discrimination function from the data on the radial distribution of the gaseous flow and substituting the surface profile of the charge in the blast furnace as the data at the current point of time into the discrimination function. CONSTITUTION:A shaft sonde 6, a temp. sonde 7 fixed to the blast furnace top and a profile measurement device 15 are disposed in the top of a blast furnace, and are connected respectively to microcomputers 16, 17, 18, which fetch the data inputted momentarily thereto at every other several seconds, convert the same to electric signals and input the signals to a process computer 19. The computer 19 judges the distribution of the gas in the blast furnace from the rate of utilization of gas obtd. from the sonde 6, from the temp. data obtd. from the sonde 7, and the angle of inclination of the charge in the furnace core part, the length in the flat part of the furnace wall, the angle of inclination of the furnace walls from the device 15 as well as the thermal load of stave, shaft pressure, etc. and makes the discrimination funtions which group the succeeding fresh data. the data at the present moment of time is then substituted into the discrimination function and the distribution of the gaseous flow at the present moment of time is detected. |
