PURPOSE:To prevent compression deformation of a cylinder block by forming the shape of a sleeve into a rotary cylindrical form in which the thickness of the center part in the longitudinal direction gradually increases from the both edge parts, in a casted cylinder block which is made of aluminium alloy and has the sleeve inside. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder block 4 is formed by casting aluminium alloy so as to clasp a sleeve inside 8, whose thickness is increased gradually in the part close to the center part in the longitudinal direction, in the part casted into the cylinder block 4. Therefore, the contraction force of aluminum alloy due to cooling acts so as to compress the sleeve 8 from the both edges to the center part, but compression deformation can be prevented, since the rigidity in the center part is large. |
