摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately control an RGR rate as well as to promote the exhaust emission control of a Diesel engine, by operating the desired EGR rate in a way of compensating the fundamental EGR rate on the basis of a suction outside air mass flow rate, while feedback-controlling an EGR rate adjusting device. CONSTITUTION:At an operation processor C, an EGR rate compensation coefficient is calculated on the basis of a flow variation detected by a suction flow detector 16. A fundamental EGR rate is found from a fuel injection quantity 1f and a revolving speed 1a of an engine. This fundamental EGR rate is compensated by the said EGR rate compensation coefficient and a desired EGR EGR rate is calculated. An EGR valve 8 is controlled by suction pressure control valves VSV1 and VSV2 and adjusts the EGR rate, Doing like this, the EGR rate can be accurately controlled without resting on atmopheric pressure or the like whereby exhaust emission control is thus promoted.
