PURPOSE:To secure the purification of exhaust gas and to achieve the maximum output power of an engine not beyond a smoke limit, by accurately detecting the flow rate of the mass of sucked-in outside air and accurately and rapidly calculating the limit value of an aimed injected fuel quantity to effectuate an accurate feedback control of an injected fuel quantity regulator. CONSTITUTION:Operating condition detectors 1a-1e, which find out the operating conditions of a Diesel engine B and a distribution-type fuel injection pump A by using electric signals, are provided. A microcomputer C, which functions as a calculating processor for controlling the injected quantity of fuel from the pump A, the time of injection of the fuel and the exhaust gas recycling ratio of the engine B, comprises a CPU 2 as the main part, a program memory ROM and a data memory RAM. The CPU 2 receives necessary signals from the operating condition detectors 1a-1e to control the time of the injection of the fuel and calculates the aimed time of the fuel injection on the basis of the received signals and an aimed injected quantity of the fuel. |
