PURPOSE:To obtain a means for securely attaining high precision pallet positioning with only one time operation and shortening cycle time by allowing an extension edge part of an extension member to make close contact and engage with a fixing member to be restricted in its position in the Z direction. CONSTITUTION:A pallet positioning device used in a manufacturing line of electronic instrument products, etc., is arranged on a prescribed position of a conveyor frame 16, and a work station is arranged on a frame side part corresponding to said device. Then, an elevation plate 36 is raised to permit a protrusion piece 46 to be respectively fitted into the round hole and long hole of an extension member 52 for positioning X, Y directions, so that the pallet 20 is finally positioned highly precisely at a prescribed position on the work station. Moreover, the extension edge part of the member 52 is forced to make close contact with the L-shaped part of a stopping member by the rising of the pallet 20 accompanying the rising of the plate 36 to permit the position of the pallet 20 in the Z direction to be restricted, allowing cycle time to be shortened. |
