PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting workability of annular insulating paper on a coil end by covering the coil end of a motor section with the paper and disposing a compressor section on the inner periphery of the coil end, thereby reducing the size of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A motor section 31 is composed of a rotor 34 inserted into a rotational shaft 33, and a stator 38 containing a winding 37 having coil ends 35, 36 at both ends. A rotary compressor section 32 has a cylinder 39, a roller 41, a slide blade 43, an upper frame 46, a lower frame 47, and a cup muffler 50 for forming an exhaust noise silencing chamber 49. An annular insulating paper 51 thermally molded substantially in the same shape as th coil end shape to enclose the lower coil end 36 is covered, and the compressor section 32 is disposed on the inner periphery of the coil end 36 covered with the paper 51. |
