A regulation circuit providing timing gate signals to the power section (10) of a power supply providing close regulation over a wide range of temperatures and with various A.C. line voltages used throughout the world. A gated semiconductor device (16) is utilized to provide gate signals to the power section for control of the power section output. The regulation circuit includes a soft start circuit portion (18), the initiation and resetting of which is under the control of a delay "on" relay (24). An optical feedback circuit (22), which includes a preheat circuit portion, is used for improvement of the regulation. |
