PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in welding operation by sliding light shielding plates to open and close a peep window upon sensing of the breath blown by an operator thereby providing a view and shielding the light during the operation. CONSTITUTION:Light shielding plates 5, 5' are opened from a through-hole by the N operation of a limit switch LS 2 at around the time when arc light is emitted in the stage of a welding operation, so that a through see-through operation is made possible. When an operator is going to start the welding operation involving the emission of the arc light, the operator blows his breath to a vane body 11 to turn the switch LS 2 on. A motor 8 is then run forward to close the plates 5, 5', whereby the arc light is shielded. |
