PURPOSE:To extend the life of filter material and largely reduce the running cost of filter devices by constituting them so as to filter a solid machining liquid with a fine filter material after filtering it with a filter material having coarse filter precision. CONSTITUTION:Two filter devices are connected in series; a filter material 54 having coarse filter precision is used in the first filter device in front and a filter material 16 having fine filter precision is used in the second filter device at the back; the outside of the first filter device in front is covered with a case 42, and the inside of this case 42 is communicated to the inside of the stationary bed 30 of the second filter device at the back with a pipe 44. Therefore, the majority of major grains in the machining liquid are filtered by the front stage and the remaining fine grains in the machining liquid are filtered by the back stage. According to this constitution, the life of the filter materials can be extended and the running cost of the filter devices can be largely reduced. |
