PURPOSE:To obtain shock resistance by installing an engagement boss for engaging a buffer ring fixed onto a rear fender in the lower part of a lamp cover and installing a fixing ring consisting of buffer members in the upper part of the lamp cover, in the longitiduinal direction of a motorcycle. CONSTITUTION:In order to fix a tail light apparatus onto a rear fender 5, a rear cowling 11 is lifted-up, and the engagement boss 3 of a lamp cover 2 is inserted into the buffer ring 7 on the rear fender 5, and a collar 9 is fitted onto a fixing ring 4 and fixed by bolts and nuts 10 and 8. Then, the cowling 11 is fixed onto the fender 5. Therefore, the buffer ring 7 or the fixing ring 4 is always inserted between the lamp cover 2 and the rear fender 5, so even if vibration or an external shock is applied, the apparatus withstands the shock bacause of soft construction. Since fixation is performed only by bolts and nuts, fabrication performance is superior. |
