There is described a sterile ointment basis, suitable for use in the eye, comprising one or more paraffins and acetylated lanolin. There is also described an ointment comprising an active ingredient, e.g. an antiallergic drug, and the ointment basis. There is further described a process for the manufacture in a medicament container of the ointment comprising an active ingredient. |
