PURPOSE:To provide a cosmetic composition containing powdered OGON (root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi) or its extract as an essential component, and exhibiting excellent effect for improving the chapped skin, spot, freckle, pimple, itchiness, etc. CONSTITUTION:The titled cosmetic contains 0.005-2wt% of powdered OGON, its extract or powdered extract. OGON is a crude drug suitable as a drug component to be compounded to cosmetics for continuous use, and exhibits excellent cosmetic effect.
