PURPOSE:To aim at compact size of an automotive body and reduction of a necessary parking space, by folding the body in unoperation of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:In operation of an automobile, both joint portions 13a and 13b between a front body frame 1 and a rear body frame 2 are unreleaseably fixed, so as to allow both frames to be travelled, and a drive wheel 12 is driven through a differential gear 11 by an engine 1 as a drive source to drive the automobile by operation of a steering system 3. In unoperation of the automobile, the joint portions 13a and 13b between both the frames are released to fold the automotive body in such a direction that lower peripheral surfaces of both the frames are opposed to each other, that is, a driven wheel 2 and the drive wheel 12 approach to each other with both wheels contacted with a ground. Further, a seatback 6a is forwardly laid down. Thus, a wheel base A in operation may be reduced to a wheel base B in unoperation. |
