<p>A speed sensor (20) transmits a signal to a microcomputer (22) which also receives a nominal signal from a circuit (26). When the speed signal exceeds the nominal signal, an alarm device (30) warns the driver of this. When the speed signal exceeds the nominal signal by a specific amount, the microcomputer (22) has an operating member (32) which, by means of a mechanism of limited free movement (36), then limits the speed of the vehicle positively in spite of the driver. <IMAGE></p> |
