PURPOSE:To reduce transmission line loss and to improve amplification efficiency by providing a transmission line composed of plural microwave integrated circuits and a power amplifier on the internal walls of a circularly sectioned horn and an oversize waveguide. CONSTITUTION:A circularly sectioned waveguide WG constitutes the E-horn EHN and the oversize waveguide OS. Numbers of microwave integrated circuits MIC each having a microwave strip line MSL on a dielectric substrate BP are provided successively on the circumferential inside wall of the oversize waveguide OS through a carrier CR. An electromagnetic wave having electric field vectors directed is admitted into the waveguide WG and guided to the circumferential part of the oversize waveguide OS by dielectric material DEL. The electromagnetic wave is coupled with the integrated circuits MIC and amplified. The amplified electromagnetic waves are synthesized together by a synthesizer which functions reversely to a distributor. |
