PURPOSE:To obtain a reduced size transformer which has an indirect exchange method by introducing two load tap exchanger by a method wherein an exciting winding of a series transformer is divided in two so that a shunt reactor is not needed. CONSTITUTION:The secondary winding of a main transformer MTR is divided in two and to one end of each of those divided windings 3A, 3B one end of each of the divided secondary windings 7A, 7B of a series transformer STR is connected. An exciting winding of the series transformer STR is also divided in two and those divided exciting winding 6A, 6B are connected to load tap exchangers 9A, 9B via two tap windings 4A, 4B respectively to form two independent closed circuits including the exchangers 9A, 9B. With this constitution, balanced current is applied to the exchangers 9A, 9B. Thus, a shunt reactor is not made necessary and the size of the equipment is reduced. |
