PURPOSE:To restore accurately an intenal timepiece, by storing the time difference between an external timepiece which is driven by a power supply other than that of a computer and an internal time piece of the computer and then dividing the time difference from the time of the external timepiece after the service interruption of the computer is recovered. CONSTITUTION:A computer 8 contains an internal timepiece 11 and supplies 9 the time data from an external timepiece 7 which is driven by a power supply other than that of the computer 8. The difference Ts between the data of the input circuit 9 and the time data of the timepiece 11 is calculated 10 for each prescribed time and then stored in a nonvolatiple memory 12. When the computer 8 has a service interruption, the time of the timepiece 11 obtained at that time point is shounted to the memory 12. When the service interruption is recovered, the timepiece 11 is set at a time point obtained by dividing the time of the timepiece 7 supplied via the circuit 9 by the difference Ts. Then the time counting is started again. Thus the time of the timepiece 11 is corrected accurately when the service interruption is recovered. |
