RECORDING AND REPRODUCING METHOD OF DATE AND TIME INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To discriminate easily the date and time information at the reproduction, by storing different date and time information from each field together with the field number and discriminating the date and time information by using a reproduced field number to record many different date and time information. CONSTITUTION:In recording the date and time information and a digital field number for discrimination at each field in a VTR, many different date and time information is recorded on a VTR tape. In detecting the field number at reproduction, the corresponding date and time information is discriminated easily without recording any special discrimination signal, and the operation such as latching at each reproduced date and time information is attained easily and surely.
