PURPOSE:To prevent magnetization of head cores at the changeover from the recording to the stop by avoiding the power supply of a connecting circuit of heads in common use of recording and reproduction and a recording bias oscillator from being connected on the way of changeover. CONSTITUTION:In bringing the tape recorder from the recording mode to the stop mode, there comes a time when a contact 14b of the 2nd switch 14 is not connected to any of contacts 14a, 14c on the way of changeover of the 1st and the 2nd switches 12, 14, a recording bias oscillator 13 stops slowly the oscillation and then the contacts 12a, 12b and 14a, 14b of the 1st and the 2nd switches 12, 14 are connected. When the switch 12 is changed over, a bias current of recording/reproducing head 11 goes to zero and no transient current flows to the recording and reproducing head. Thus, the magnetization of the head core at the changeover from the recording to the stop is prevented with a very simple constitution. |
