PURPOSE:To improve the encoding signal characteristic for master recording by encoding a reproducing main signal with a sub-code formed automatically, based on a marking signal reproduced from a recorded VTR code. CONSTITUTION:The marking signal is recorded on a part corresponding to a PCM main code on a VTR tape in response to the operation of a keyboard 115 of a sub-code generating circuit 113. Further, a sub-code by a time chart forming section 114d forming easily, accurately and automatically the sub-code is stored in a storage section 114b based on the time measuring circuit section 114c and the measuring time measuring the generating time of the reproduced marking signal. A digital signal corresponding to a reproduced main code via a PCM processor 111 by the sub-code is encoded by the encoder 112 and becomes the master recording signal. The characteristic of the encode signal for the master recording is improved by using the sub-code formed easily and accurately and the recording on the master disc such as optical disc is performed in an excellent way. |
