PURPOSE:To prevent sensible vibration by reducing the vibration propagating through the ground by using a system in which the rigidity of the ground through which vibration propagates is raised and the intrinsic frequency of the ground is practically made discordant with the vibration frequency of a vibration source. CONSTITUTION:Steel rods 18 of a diameter of 10-30mm. are driven into the surrounding ground 16 of a concrete foundation 10 on which a machine 12 to generate mechanical vibration is set. When the rods 18 as reinforcements are driven, the deformity of the surrounding ground is lowered and sensible vibration in the points far from the machine 12 on the ground's surface is practically reduced. When the vibraion source is subway vehicle 30 running in a tunnel 8, sensible vibration to housing 32 is reduced when the rods 18 are set radially in the ground 16 surrounding the tunnel. |
