PURPOSE:To reduce the load on a discharge transistor (TR) and to improve the linearity of variation in oscillation frequency with a resistance value by turning off the discharge TR during discharging operation. CONSTITUTION:The 1st TR (p channel MOSFET) 2 is connected to a power source 1, and a resistance 9 and a capacitor 10 are connected in series. The 2nd TR (n channel MOSFET) 4 is connected in parallel to the capacitor 10. The input of a Schmitt trigger circuit 5 is connected to the connection point 12 between the resistance 9 and capacitor 2, and the output of the circuit 5 is connected to an input of an NAND gate 6 and an output terminal 7. Then, the output of the Schmitt trigger circuit 5 turns the TR2 on and TR4 off when the capacitor 10 is charged, or turns the TR2 off and the TR4 off when the capacitor 10 is discharged. |
