发明名称 Vorrichtung fuer die Behandlung von Textilgut in einer rotierenden, gelochten Trommel
摘要 947,066. Drying apparatus. A. MEYER. July 29, 1960 [Aug. 7, 1959; April 23, 1960; July 1, 1960], No. 26447/60. Heading F4G. An apparatus for drying textiles comprises a cylindrical perforated drum 2, Figs. 1 and 2, rotatably mounted on a horizontal axis within a stationary housing 1, the drum being provided in its peripheral wall with an opening 10 facilitating the filling and discharging of the drum and closable by curved door 8 carried by a pivotal shaft 9 extending longitudinally of the wall, and a cam-like projection 20, Fig. 6, carried by the drum for coacting with a control lever 19 on a shaft 18 pivoted in the housing, the arrangement being such that when the drum is rotated in the direction E the control lever 19 causes the door to open inwardly of the drum and when the drum is rotated in the direction T the lever causes the door to close under the action of a torsion spring on the shaft 9. The drum is provided with hollow stub shafts 3 mounted on rollers 4 which at one end are driven by a reversible motor 7 through belts and pulleys. Drying medium, e.g. hot air produced in conventional manner, s passed through the stub shafts 3 into the drum and discharged from the housing 1 through an outlet 68. The housing has a filling opening 11 closable by a cover 12 carried by a pivotal shaft 13 in the housing and a discharge opening 15 closable by a sliding cover 16. A loading trough 28 pivoted on a pair of levers 30 pivoted at 31 to the housing, is normally housed in a recess 49 but is movable to the position shown in Fig. 2 to be filled with textiles and thereafter to the position shown in Fig. 1, to charge the textiles through the aligned openings 11 and 10. An endless conveyer belt 17 is provided beneath the discharge opening 15 to remove the dried textiles. The door 8 is operable by a pneumatic piston and cylinder unit 22 pivoted at 21 to an end wall of the drum and having its piston-rod 23 pivotally connected to an arm 25 secured to the shaft 9. Compressed air is supplied to a tube passing through one stub shaft and rotatable with the drum, the tube being connected to the cylinder 22, to open the door which closes under the action of the torsion spring (not shown) when the supply is cut-off. The levers 30 are connected at 32 to cylinder and piston units 26 pivoted at 27 to the end walls of the housing, the piston-rods of these units also being connected through levers 36 and 38 to the shaft 13. The sliding cover 16 is operable by a cylinder and piston unit 46 through a lever 42 pivoted at 43 to the housing. Referring to Fig. 14, the hot air enters the outlet 68 via a chamber 94 housing a cylindrical rotary filter 105. The air enters the filter through its sieve wall 106 and passes through the filter end, rotatably and slidably connected at 107, to the outlet 68. The sieve is engaged by one or more removable brushes 108 carried by a removable container 124 for receiving fibres and fuzz brushed from the outer surface of the sieve. A suction fan 125 driven by a motor 126 is provided in the outlet. The filter 105 is carried by a shaft 116 drivable by a ratchet-and-pawl mechanism 118 in turn carried by a lever 122 pivotally connected to the shaft 13 through a connecting rod 123 and lever 128. When the cover 12 is closed the filter is rotated through about 60 degrees in order to brush the sieve. The control lever 19, Fig. 6, includes a spring member 19<SP>1</SP> which is engageable by the projection 20 when the drum rotates in the direction T to move the lever to the lower dotted-line position. When the drum moves in the direction E the member 19<SP>1</SP> will be flexed out of the way by the projection. The shaft 18 of the lever is connected to the valve in the air supply to the unit 22. The circuit for the fan motor 126 is controlled by a switch which is opened when the cover 12 is opened. The various motors and pneumatic piston and cylinder units may be controlled manually as required or automatically according to a preset programme. Instead of the pneumatic piston and cylinder 22, the door 8 may be operated by an electric motor or solenoids. Moreover, the pivoted door 8 may be replaced by a rotatable slidable door as described with reference to Figs. 3 to 5 (not shown). Furthermore twin air outlets 68 may be provided for the housing 1 as described with reference to Fig. 17 (not shown), and the discharge conveyer 17 may be replaced by a discharge trough pivoted on the ends of a pair of extensible and swivellable connecting rods driven through bevel gears or universal joints from an electric motor and slidable along roller tracks to a final tipping position, as described with reference to Figs. 8 to 11 (not shown).
