A thermally conductive, electrically insulating composition curable by exposure to moisture comprises (A) 100 p.b.w. of an organopolysiloxane wherein R is a C 1-8 monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon or halohydrocarbon radical, R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> are each a C 1-18 monovalent hydrocarbon, halohydrocarbon or cyanoalkyl radical and on average n is 2-3, y is 1À99-2, z is 1-1À01, y + z is 3 and x is 7-1250, (B) 110-175 p.b.w. of boron nitride powder, (C) 0À1-10 p.b.w. of a curing catalyst for (A), and optionally (D) 0À5- 10 p.b.w. of an alkoxysilane R<SP>11</SP> a Si(OR) 4-a wherein a is 0 or 1. In examples compositions are prepared using a wide variety of substances (A) to (D). |
