PURPOSE:To prevent the copying and surreptitious use of a program, by omitting a data part containing the number of a medium storing the program out of a medium format and then loading again the data part for collation when a proper number is used to a processor. CONSTITUTION:When a medium storing a program, e.g., a magnetic disk 6 is forwarded, both ID and data fields of a sector 1 of the 1st track are omitted. While a proper number (2350 in the diagram) is allotted to a processor D for shipment. The disk 6 is loaded to the processor D, and 2350 is written to said data omitted part from a switch 1 via a CPU2 and a disk device 4. The processing is possible only when coincidence is obtained between 2350 of the switch 1 and 2350 of the disk 6 when the program is loaded. Thus, copying of the program from the disk 6 or to use the disk 6 with another processor is made impossible then the foul use of a program is prevented. |
