PURPOSE:To ammend the deterioration of the photoelectric conversion sensitivity which is generated with improvement of the image pickup resolution, by adding together, with the same phase the outputs of image pickup signals of plural 1- dimensional charge coupling devices obtained in response to the same image pickup section. CONSTITUTION:The picked-up images are received from corresponding image pickup region sections through photoelectric converting parts 6-1-6-3. The photo detecting quantity is converted into the corresponding electric charge and transferred and stored in shift registers 8-1-8-3 in the form of image pickup signals corresponding to the image pickup region sections respectively by the reset pulses supplied to transfer gates 7-1-7-3, of charge coupling devices through a time control means 9. These image pickup signals stored the shift registers are atransferred and added to registers 8-1-8-3 by the clock pulse delivered from the means 9 and delivered through an amplifier 10. Therefore the S/N is improved triple in terms of the electric power ratio. Thus it is possible to improve the image pickup sensitivity in response to the high image resolution of a radiometer. |
